The Story Behind the Name

The name Lloyd Amock holds a very special place in our family. It was a name used by Tyler, whose love for dogs was something everyone around him knew well.

Tyler had an incredible connection with dogs. They seemed naturally drawn to him, and he had a way of understanding and connecting with them that was uniquely his. In our family, we often referred to him as “the dog whisperer.”

After losing Tyler, our family wanted to carry something meaningful from his life forward. Rather than creating something centered on loss, we chose to build something around one of the things that brought him so much joy—dogs.

And that became Lloyd Amock.
